Continental Seafood - Richmond

We visited the restaurant around 10 AM on a Monday, and it wasn't busy, which made parking easy with plenty of spaces available in the lot. The menu featured standard dim sum dishes, costing about $15 per person. None of the dishes were particularly memorable. However, the restaurant is spacious and would be able to accommodate large groups comfortably.

This is one of the rare dim sum restaurants that still utilizes a cart system! Making a reservation was straightforward, and although their system seems like organized chaos, it functions perfectly. The food comes out quickly, and the service is even faster. They operate like a well-oiled machine, understanding exactly what they’re doing and what their guests desire. I enjoyed it so much that I went back twice in one week!

As for parking, there are spots available right in front of the restaurant, but they fill up quickly. Be aware that some spaces are restricted to 15 or 60 minutes. Fortunately, there's an additional parking lot directly behind the restaurant with 2-hour spaces, which tends to have more availability, especially when the restaurant is busy.

Continental Seafood is a dim sum restaurant renowned for its speedy service and wide variety of options. They offer a unique dining experience with carts that circulate through the restaurant, allowing you to select dishes to share family-style. These carts come by every few minutes, so you won't find yourself waiting long without food. Parking can be challenging, as the shopping center is often bustling with activity. Despite having numerous tables inside, there can occasionally be a wait, but it usually moves quickly. I highly recommend this place if you’re in the Richmond area and craving dim sum.

The quality of food and service has significantly improved during my recent visits compared to a few years ago. This place has now become my go-to spot in Richmond. The generous portion sizes, push cart style, and quick service all contribute to an outstanding dining experience.
