I’ve only had breakfast here , kitchen will toast gf bread in oven for avacado toast . I’ve also had omelette and just asked them to use real eggs as sometimes carton eggs contain gluten . Never reacted and have enjoyed several safe meals here. If/when any restaurant looks stressed or super busy I often skip eating as risk seems to increase if staff is flustered, this place can be very busy so trust your instincts.
My server had no idea what gluten was “so you just can’t have bread?” the GF bread was def toasted on a normal toaster — only had a few bites immediately felt off.
Not a lot of options but the bartender was very knowledgeable and told me that they're very "celiac conscious" in the kitchen regarding prep space and cross contamination. My chef salad was delicious and hearty so I was very pleased. He even suggested a different salad dressing because he wasn't positive about the ranch dressing. They only lose a star in my book because of the limited options, but hey, it's a sports bar so what do you expect? All in all an excellent experience down by gate E78.
One star too many. Guy at door said celiac husband could have lettuce wrapped burger. Waited 20 minutes to get in, to find out the patties contain wheat.
Very limited options and the server was completely oblivious. There is a blurb on the menu saying to ask about all their gf options. When I asked about gf options the laughed and said "good luck". Not impressed. After asking to speak with the manager we waited for a good 20 minutes before the manager came. I ended up ordering a BLT on GF bread with coleslaw.. it was dry and gross. Unfortunately it's the only side down restaurant At YVR. Avoid if possible!
