Family Secrets - Richm

The car club dinned there for the anniversary of the Ford mustang. The food and service was top notch. Alot of member had to take the rest of their food home because there was so much. That's going to be my go to spot for lunch when I'm on that side of town.

Came in 20 mins before closing and they couldn't accommodate me and my family. Never seen a restaurant turn down customers before closing time. As a server for 16 years. I'll never go back into this establishment and they're black owned which makes it even more sad. This is why businesses don't succeed for us.

The food was alright. Service could've been faster and more attentive. Visited at about 1pm on a sunday, drinks were quick. I wanted the club sandwich I was told they don't make them on the weekend due to it taking too long ??? So I ordered the BBQ sandwich instead. It was serviceable but quite salty for an NC style BBQ. Not much vinegar tang and barely any heat. The actual pork was cooked well though. Kinda really wanted the club lol.

OMG the food was delicious. The collard greendd were seasoned perfectly. The service was awsome.

Food was good but everything needed salt. Everyone at our table had to add salt to their food. The young man who worked our table was very nice but he needed some help since it was 10 of us. I would go back but not with a large party..Vegetarian options: They have a veggie platter of 3 sides you can get..
