Shrub Steppe Smokehouse Brewery

Shrub Steppe is located in a business park where two other breweries are just a small walk away. These three breweries were also ones that I felt like were the better ones I went to on my visit to the Tri-cities. Shrub Steppe was the last one I went to out of the three. They have a nice, big yard with shady trees that you can sit under and enjoy your beer or if your are wanting a meal that as well. They also serve food here but I had a large lunch and eating was not a priority at the time. So as to how good the food is here I do not know. The beer on the other hand I really enjoyed! They had a great Vanilla Porter here which has a great soothing and warming feeling. Perfect for the Fall! The service was good though I needed very little attention and all of the staff was quite friendly!

Happened upon this place when looking for a pit stop and sure glad we did! What a great combination. Fantastic brisket sandwich and a great pilsner! Their service matches the quality unlike many in the fast city where I'm from, got to love the slower pace live where people treat you this great! Two thumbs up!

Had the meat platter, quick service for lunch! All the meats were moist and tender, the wings were really flavorful. I loved the wide variety of sauces and the Habanero Honey beer complemented the meal well, would recommend.

An incredible value. I was impressed with the quality of the ingredients and they have a great lineup of BBQ sauces table-side for you to experiment with. They have a nice assortment of beers on tap and a fun place to visit with buddies at the end of a workday.
