Palio's Pizza Cafe Richardson

I typically order food for a student group I advise at UTD. I was told they could not deliver my order because it is too small (I typically need to accommodate 10 people at our meetings). They do not offer big bags to help with carrying large orders, nor did I receive assistance loading the order into my car. Additionally, when I placed my order (which included pizza, pasta, salad, and soda), I asked for plates, utensils, cups, and napkins. When I went to pick up the order, I asked if those items had been included and was told they were. Imagine my frustration when I got to campus and opened all the sealed bags only to find 10 cups, a handful of napkins, and 1 fork. No plastic knives, and no plates, so we were unable to serve the pasta, and the pizza slices had to be served on napkins. Since the restaurant is so close to campus, they should anticipate getting large orders regularly for student groups and staff meetings. I don't understand why they are unable to provide the plasticware and supplies needed for large orders. We've had to switch to another local restaurant for our food orders. While the food is delicious, they are unable to meet our needs as a group. We only request supplies for 10 people max, so it's not like we're asking for plates and utensils for 50 people or an unreasonably large group. It's disappointing because we chose this restaurant on the recommendation of our students since they've individually had great experiences with Palio's.

Tiny pizza with two toppings over eighteen dollars after tax! Taste ok but too small.

I like their pasta, wonderful mac and cheese and really tasty subs as well. The pizza is square cut, which is a bit odd but it is still very tasty, i really like the quattro formasio and the king.

Nothing fancy. If you are looking for fast Italian food, this is a great place. No love in the food. Place is clean.
