Cappuccino Italian Bistro - Richardson

I decided to order several dishes from the menu for myself and a few extras for my friend. We both found the food to be incredibly enjoyable and flavorful. The service was equally commendable; all the staff were attentive and generous with their time. If you're in search of an Italian bistro that offers a delightful setting and delicious cuisine, I highly recommend checking out this restaurant. My friend and I had a wonderful experience, and I am definitely looking forward to returning! Delicious!

We ordered bruschetta for eight people, but unfortunately, no one could eat it because the toasted bread was extremely hard—almost impossible to cut with a knife. My guests ended up just spooning the tomatoes off and eating that instead. It was quite embarrassing! I also ordered the eggplant parmigiana, but the tomato sauce had a burnt taste. A couple of others were disappointed with their meals as well. I'm sorry to say this might be our last visit to Cappuccinos.

The waitstaff was friendly and attentive, but unfortunately, the food was just average. The salad was covered in so much creamy dressing that I could barely taste the greens. The chicken Alfredo was also a letdown; the noodles were overcooked and had a rubbery texture.

Service was good albeit a little slow. Very nice atmosphere with flowers and candles on all the tables, would be a good place to go on a date. Food was good, although portions were smaller than most Italian restaurants I've been to, they weren't small,it's just that many Italian restaurants give you more food than most can finish. I was a little disappointed that the eggplantin the eggplant parmigiana was unbreaded and grilled instead of fried like I've always had before, but this may have been in thedescription on the menu and overlooked by me. I did some searches and grilled eggplant is used in some recipes, I just neverhad it that way before.
