Monte Verde - Ribeira Grande

We were suggested to order a mist piece, mixed grilled fish, so we can sample different fish species. we accepted the proposal. we had to wait for minutes, our missto de peixe! then a waiter brought us a tablet that only contains fish and fish heads, not even a single whole fish. so we understood that they have cut out for an hour and half fish fillets for the other costumers who gather heads and cocks for the table of tourist. there should be another assessment, lower than terrible with zero staring, and marks offensive or dishonest

Ladies for our friends birthday went to the Azores. We found this gem, by accident at fist it looked like a whole in the wall Bar, we were greeted by this wonderful smile and most accommodating gentleman, then we met Carlos we couldn’t have...asked for a nicer, helpful waiter. We ordered our drinks. Then Carlos brought a complimentary dish of octopus stew and fresh bread. We enjoyed ourself so much, we said we will be back we left after hugs with the chef Carlos and the wonderful man behind the Bar I’m sorry I forgot his name. Our last day we decided to go back and were we glad we did, the restaurant was packed with the local people for Sunday dinner, we were made to feel so welcome the food was fantastic!! By far the best experience we had on this Trip.
