We visited the place for breakfast and lunch on the same day. The food and service were excellent, and you have a nice view of the mountains from the restaurant. If you're staying in Stara Fužina (or at the hotel itself), the restaurant is just a short walk away, but they do have a few private parking spaces if you're lucky to find a free spot. The restaurant was not particularly crowded when we visited, but you should consider making a reservation beforehand. The prices are slightly higher but not unreasonable for the area and quality.

5/5 stars for this wonderful hotel. We stayed at Majerca for three nights and our room (with lakeview was just perfect. The location is great as well, pretty much right at the lake and close to many hiking paths in the National Park. Kudos especially to the Restaurant at Majerca. Lots of local products (including a wine list with superb Slovenian wines are being offered both at dinner and breakfast. Dinner was always extremely tasty and cooked with great technique (kudos to the chef . Plenty of veggie options also at both dinner and breakfast. Last but not least: the staff was always friendly and seemed like really caring about your well-being. We will def. come back : Hvala!

My wife and I stayed only one night because we planned to do a hike in the area. We would happily stayed longer at the hotel.The room was fairly small but well lauded out. The bed was comfortable. The bathroom had a powerful shower and good quality toiletries.The staff were very friendly and helpful.We ate dinner in the restaurant which was very good. The wines were also good and the recommended dessert wine was superb.Breakfast was very good too.We would definitely stay again.
