The Towneley Arms - Ribble Valley

Had an average lunch, good portions but the TV was on and the volume was very loud! Not a pleasant experience.

Called in for Sunday lunch, we were told roast dinners were not on the menu that day. Two of us had lambs shanks mash and peas/green beans. The lamb shank was very nice, the rest wasn't! We found it very overpriced and our meal was also spoilt by two girls (one I believe was a member of staff) swearing and acting disgraceful, I'm just glad I wasn't with my grandchildren. If I'd have been the landlord they would have been asked to leave. Overall it was not a pleasant experience and a place we will be avoiding in the future!

Lovely pub in a beautiful area. Definitely worth a visit if you get the chance.

Lovely staff and great pub grub! Reasonably priced and friendly staff and atmosphere. Can't wait to return!

Highly recommended by a friend who is a regular visitor.The food looked and tasted great and the menu is quite varied. A nice clean and friendly pub with a good atmosphere . Will visit again.
