Stonebridge Chippery - Ribble Valley

We travel about 12 miles to visit Stonebridge Chippy and we go there regularly ..... always well worth the drive. On a sunny day, you can sit at the little tables outside, which is lovely .... but even if it`s raining and you`re eting in the car, it`s still great as the crisp, freshly-cooked chips are always delicious and the fish is second to none. Someone said they might also be opening a cafe next door .... which will be brilliant if they do. Some of the best Fish and Chips in Lanashire in our opinion !!

We drive around 8 miles from Cottam to visit this chip shop. Although we have many chip shops near us, Stonebridge is definitely the best. Sometimes we have to eat in the car, but it's worth it. Be prepared for lines during peak times like Friday and Saturday evenings. You need to place your order for items like fish, nuggets, and burgers as soon as you enter. The prices are fair and not overpriced at all, in fact, I would say it's as cheap as can be. This chip shop is better than all the others in Preston, including Bill Bens, Umbertos, West End, King Kod, The Wee Chippy, and Mr Eaters.

I went to this restaurant on a Thursday evening in May. Parking was a bit challenging, but the line was quickly managed in a friendly manner. The fish had a creamy texture with crispy batter and was freshly cooked. The chips were perfectly cooked, straight out of the fryer.

This was a special treat for my son, but it was disappointing and expensive for what it was. The fish was very nice but the chips were horrible we had all the Scraps definitely won’t be coming back to this chip shop. The staff were nice too but the meal was poor they could and should have done a lot better. After hearing about what people had said we decided to try this!! Unfortunately our meal was just not up to it and was poor! You can’t put scraps in and the chips weren’t even that hot, they also looked like that had been back in the fryer some were burnt.

I go there every Friday, staff are very nice, helpful and quick, my takeaway is always well wrapped so never cold when I get home and it tastes just great , I always have a pot of curry and my wife has the peas, both are just the job and keep hot in the polystyrene cups, cant fault this chippy
