Special Food Chinese Take Away

I ordered a few times ,at the beginning it took them 2 hours .Eventually ,they arrived quite on time. It is reasonable because they are the only one open during these difficult time.I truly appreciate that they took the risk and effort to cook for us, overall the food was affordable and tasty.

I placed my order at 6:14pm and called at 8:00pm to check on it. I was told to wait another 20 minutes for delivery. After waiting for 35 minutes, the food still had not arrived. When I called again, I was informed that my food was still being cooked. The service was absolutely terrible and we are still waiting for our food. I would not recommend this place to anyone unless you are prepared to wait at least 2 to 3 hours for your order.

The restaurant received good reviews in 2018 when it was operated by previous owners. However, the current food quality is lacking. I tried it multiple times to give them a chance, but unfortunately it has not improved. For example, their Special Fried Rice should typically include bits of beef, pork, peas, and prawns with barbecue sauce, but this version only had small pieces of beef and pork. The food seemed to be cooked with overused oil, giving it a strange taste. The chips were also over fried and had a similar taste. The lack of quality in their dishes does not justify the prices. Feel free to try it yourself, but be prepared for disappointment.

Wow! Cannot believe how poor this meal was. Firstly the delivery was 35 mins late. When we contacted them after 10 mins after their ETA, we were told that it would be a further 15 mins. No prawn crackers, no additional items, no apology. The food was either raw, burnt or drenched in salt. Having spent nearly 50 pounds i’m incensed. There was nothing about this meal or service was adequate.

Phoned in takeaway order. Told 45 mins. Arrive to fine not even started order. Waited another 30 mins for them to cook order. Got hone to fine they charged me for food they hadn't even cooked. Part the order missing. Called back to find out where the order was to be told they couldn't provide as they were doing someone else's order. I am local and like supporting local business but this business is a joke. They don't stick to their routine opening times and don't care about the orders they do.
