Colliers Arms - Rhondda Cynon Taf

We stopped by for a late lunch before heading to Cardiff. We ordered 2 corned beef pies and 1 scampi. One of the pies was decent, but the other seemed leftover from the day before with hard pastry. The scampi was overcooked. The meal only cost £4.95, but we didn't really enjoy it.

The restaurant meets a satisfactory standard. Pricing is £7.50 for a regular size portion, with an option to upgrade to a larger portion for an additional £1.50. It can get quite busy, resulting in a wait during peak hours around 1 to 2 pm. The roast potatoes have a unique texture, being soft on the outside but dry inside. The vegetable medley is enjoyable, and my wife particularly liked the beef.

Went here for the rugby on the 10th Feb 2018. Superb atmosphere. If your doing this, get in there early, it was packed.Even though, the staff were fantastic! No wait in getting served with a great pint of pull. After the match, which we lost to England, we had a sharer great value and just ott for two.It's local for us, and we will be going here again. Good pints, good food, great crowd. What more do you need? Excellent!!!

Myself and my family and friends went for a lovely meals and the staff and management team are ever so friendly it's well worth you're time
