White Stag Inn - RHINELANDER

One of my favorite restaurants in Wisconsin. Get a bone-in crucible. Medium rare. You'll be very happy. I ate there 40 years ago. It's still so good, maybe better.

Great food. Nothing beautiful as great steaks. Best in the area hands down. Nice dinner club atmosphere. They serve your table with a bowl of salad wedge. The server then also explains the 3 different home dresses and how they complement each other. The salad dressing alone is worth the trip. Excellent variety of steaks, chicken and seafood. I love going there. They won't be sad and not eating much more in the area.

Absolutely delicious. I've been going to the deer for 15 years and it's the same high quality since the first day. Steaks are the best everywhere, pork chops are the specialty, and the fish is better than I ever had somewhere else. You can't visit the northern forests without going to Stag.

Great steaks. The White Stag Inn has consistently good service and good food. The steaks are high quality and perfectly cooked. The salads are pure dinner club! Great bar, great food and great service. What is not to like!

Nothing extravagent, but good. Someone could consider this place a bit pricey. However, I believe the quality of food helps make it worth it. The food is simple, but delicious. I have visited the White Stag Inn at a variety of times throughout the year with one person, myself, at the table to six people always receiving the same service and food quality. The gentleman preparing the meats does a good job insuring your choice of doneness. Their homemade salad dressings make up for the wedges of iceberg lettuce.
