The Matchbox Cafe - Rhinebeck

We had lunch at Matchbox Cafe and it was phenomenal. They make their own bratbeef for which they should die. The pommes are like you've never eaten them and they even make their own potato chips. Everything is fresh and made at home, like her veggie burgers. We were recommended by the Bed and Breakfast owner and I totally agree.... a must to visit when you are in the neighborhood.

Such a wonderful place! Having only visited 5 times, my palate still dances at the thought of tasting a new dish at Matchbox Cafe. The service is quick, there has never been a wait for more than a minute of being seated. The owners are absolutely wonderful in creating a warm and unique experience with every visit. Menu wise; thus far I've experienced the chicken salad sandwich, egg sandwich, matchbox burger, the best red velvet cake, carrot cake and the BEST cookies!!! If cookies and cake are a part of your diet that you absolutely, visit The Matchbox Cafe. So much love�
