Old School Rooms - Rhiconich

We just enjoyed dinner and drinks at this charming little restaurant, designed like an old schoolhouse. The staff was incredibly friendly, and both the food and drinks were quite enjoyable. If you're in the area, it's definitely worth a visit! For our meal, my wife and I shared the smoked fish appetizer and the venison pie, both of which were delicious. The portions were generous enough to satisfy us, and we even saved some space for the Oreo cheesecake, which was also delightful. Everything on the menu looked fantastic, but since we were only in the area for one night, we couldn't return for another meal.

Kenny and Barbara are brilliant! We arrived exhausted and they where just lovely and welcoming. We felt like they really care about every guest. I stayed overnight during a road trip and had a great experience. The staff was exceptionally friendly, and the food was delicious with a nice selection of beers. Overall, I would rate the rooms a 4, the service a 5, and the location a 5.

What an amazing discovery! The room is incredibly comfortable, complete with an ensuite shower and beautiful views of the sea. The dining area is in a former school building, which keeps its charming old-school ambiance—such a fun experience! Amazing hotel just outside Kinlochbervie. Location is spot on for a beautiful sunset. Owners are so friendly and accommodating. Delicious dinner and breakfast.
