Die Kuche - Rheinbach

The food and service were the biggest disappointment in town and below the fast-food chain available. It was recommended by some friends, but the quality of the place was away from what was promised.

Good food, nice prices, quiet location! Toilets not disabled friendly (but was able to use those in the tea shop next door)

We thought it would be just a typical small town restaurant, but boy were we surprised. We split a flammkuchen as an appertiser. No premade pastry here, clearly made from scratch, the thinnest crispest, tastyiest any of us ever had ! Our main courses were trout, mackerel, rump steak and Weiner schnitzel - all were outstanding ! The accompanying veggies and potatoes were all different for each main course, and a delicious complement to the favors of each main dish.After the dinner, I had to visit the kitchen to pay compliments to the team. The food is prepared with great thought and care, and the taste and texture of the food makes its own caseThe decor is not fancy, but who is looking when the food is so delicious

It is a charming little German restaurant with a very simple menu: the soup of the day, 4 possible entrees, one dessert. The service is accurate and the food is good. That's it.
