Przekaż informację zwrotnąWe were recommended to this restaurant by a worker on the blue lagoon. we could not participate in our first night because the restaurant required a reservation. we waited a few days and got one of 5:30P. we didn't know that the restaurant was so high that we came together with our big coats, woke and pullovern. fortunately, that didn't seem to be a big thing. the service is top-tier, the type where they get a wine list and the cook does not cut meat, unless it is of the highest quality. the menu is smaller than a cheaper sitting restaurant, so if you are looking for extensive options, this is not the place, but the options that were given were delicious. when they get meat, it is cooked after this boiling. I laughed and said it was medium cooked. although it is not my typical preference, I trusted the skills and the education to meet the right choice. I was glad I did it when it was delicious. for me the serviettes are not massive, but sufficient that they do not starve or hunt after. it is unlikely that they need a takeout box or something. as they can say from the dollar signs, the restaurant is not cheap, but I had nothing to do with it when I was on vacation and was willing to spend more money. the restaurant ambientee is great. it's pretty elegant. when they are in reykjavík, I recommend stopping them just to try something unique.
Do I have to say more than what the pictures show? (can the images not really do food justice) that was an absolute criminal of a place. the skalopps were especially fricking fantastic. the service was absolutely brilliant and beautiful. make sure to book their table although they are pretty busy. we had the exotic tasting menu and it was undeniably delicious.
The service here is excellent! our server alerted us. we have the steak and sushi special from the menu. we get two plates of sushi that were very fresh but not the best sushi I had ever. the steak came in a huge teller with kartoffels and cherry tomatoes. it was the highlight of the night. the portion size was too large, even for two people and we had a lot of steak left. I wish they gave us less steak and saved me money. the desert was artistic. all in all, we spent about $250 usd including control. the best meal we had on the island to close our vacation, one we are sure to remember.
The personal was competent and very helpful! definitely recommend this place. I've got a zöliakie and I didn't have a problem.
Aka fish market. exquisite taste and presentation. fair amount of choices (about 5 main dishes and 2 desserts and several appetizers) on their gluten-free menu.
