Mandi - Reykjavik

My friends and I visited this restaurant one evening and ordered falafel plates, which impressed us so much that we decided to return the next night for falafel sandwiches and fries. We found the plate to be more exciting than the sandwich, but both options were definitely worth the visit. The fries were particularly delicious, especially when topped with the spicy sauce. Additionally, we were pleased to discover that the restaurant is accommodating to vegans - just let them know your dietary preferences and they will make it happen.

The falafel wrap was delicious, the prices were affordable, and the service was quick.

This place has a great atmosphere. It is small, but there are a few tables to sit at and eat. We ordered lamb shawarma and Mixed Mandi served with rice. Both dishes were served quickly and were delicious. The food was good, prices were reasonable, and the staff was very friendly!

One of the best shawarma, Middle Eastern restaurants I have ever tried! This comes from someone who has tried MANY Middle Eastern restaurants. I ordered the jumbo chicken sandwich, and my husband ordered the mixed shawarma sandwich. We discovered this place the night before leaving Iceland. We were disappointed we didn't find it earlier, or else we would have definitely returned for lunch or dinner. The staff was very friendly. The place was busy, but still clean. Highly recommended, without a doubt!
