Gringo's Mexican - Rexburg

The name said it was all imitation Mexican food. the only decent thing we had was the tamales and salsa, running was hard and tasted like the paprika with which it was cooked. there was shredded bark very spoiled and not even shredded. definitiw never again

The sweet pork tacos were delightful, the chips were fresh, and the salsa was perfectly balanced. The service was friendly, and I thoroughly enjoyed my dinner this evening. Great job! Thank you.

The name of the restaurant sums it up well. It serves Mexican food that tastes like what you'd expect from non-Mexicans trying to make it. The staff is friendly and professional, which is a plus. Being in a college town, students can be easily impressed, so by the time they actually appreciate the flavors, they might already have burned out on it. But really, in the grand scheme of things, it’s just about finding something to eat.

I would usually give a 4 or 5 star rating, as I had eaten here before and that eating is really excellent, but this time was really rough. as I am about halfway through my meal, I begin with intense stomach pain, followed by a need to run into the toilet room. this happened 3 times more within 30 minutes after I left the restaurant. not sure if the food was not cooked all the way, but it was not a pleasant experience. hopefully this was a unique experience, as I enjoyed my experiences in pastness.

Very well served dishes. Salsa and tacos are very yummy! The service is good but sometimes it is very slow and need to wait good 15 minutes to recieve your food. The good part of that is that you get unlimited chips and salsa while waiting.
