Luberto's Pastry Shop - Revere

The ambiance was excellent, and the service was good. The prices are reasonable, but unfortunately, the pastries were not fresh, despite my inquiry. Unfortunately, the staff did not provide honest answers.

The Black Forest Cakes here are absolutely AMAZING! I've been a loyal customer for nearly 40 years, starting at their previous location. The quality of their work is exceptional, and the staff is wonderful. You always feel warmly welcomed! Truly outstanding!

I recently ordered a strawberry shortcake and requested whipped cream to be added on the outside of the cake. Unfortunately, not many of the staff seemed to understand English, so when I picked it up, I found whipped cream only on top. Abby informed me that adding the whipped cream would cost an extra $15, and when I said okay, I was frustrated. Then, another staff member named Caterina came in and said it was actually an extra $5. At that point, I really lost my patience. They should have offered that as a courtesy instead of charging me more. The customer service was terrible. Even though I'm a local, I won't be returning. The prices are outrageous anyway. Tripoli in North Andover is definitely a better option and worth the drive.

I Bought cannoli’s at 4 each which are not cheap. Only to find out the middle was empty on all of them. I thought maybe just the one time but again the same thing another time every place wants to cut down and take away more from us but it’s time we speak up They make the cannolis look full from the stuffed ends and is deceiving because u think they are full. I hope they stop this and realize it’s ripping off the customer. I paid for it and I didn’t get it for free.. At 4 each they are not cheap. A waste of to me. I did notice most my guest who ate them noticed it as well. beware
