Frisby Ridge Diner - Revelstoke

I love Frisby Ridge Teriyaki! It is a little bit expensive, but then again, what isn't expensive in Revelstoke? I find it to be good value for the price of the town. The staff are lovely, and it's truthfully my favorite restaurant to go to. I always get greeted and feel welcomed. I'm a huge raw seafood fanatic. I love the BBQ Eel roll, Alaska Roll, and of course, just a good ol' Salmon roll. The nigiri is pretty good as well! (Love tobiko and scallop, yum! Will be returning when I make my trips to Revy!

The restaurant is indeed open for business, despite reports that it is closed. The sushi served here is excellent and definitely worth trying.

I had the rice hot pot (can't remember the Korean name for it) and was very impressed. You get heaps of hot, fresh food for the price and it was very tasty. I would definitely recommend this to friends. Great for a big meal after a big day of skiing.

Gomae is way too expensive at $6.50 for such a small portion of spinach! The Maki B was decent, although the rice was overcooked and there was an unexpected ginger flavor in my salmon and tuna roll. Overall, it was okay. The bento box had a good variety, but the sushi was just alright. The miso ramen was unique and innovative. I've never had the option to add beef to miso ramen before, but it was an interesting experience.

The prices are very affordable and the customer service is excellent. My favorite dishes are the Salmon Teriyaki Plate and California Rolls.
