Very goog service, English speaking staff, menu menus available in English and Spanish, very well selected foods with care, celiac diseases. menus. very good fish and regional meat. big salty and very good deserts. good wine letter of premium quality.
So rarely, I leave bad reviews, but I thought coconut's was horrible. the food was waking up, lacking flavor, and if I had cooked it at home, I would have been disappointed. the meat was hard and tasteless, the vegetables had been cooked to death, and the food lacked emotion or imagination. It's not cheap either. I can't think of anything good to say, except we had a good bottle of wine. service and staff were good.
Coco's is a quaint restaurant with several rooms being used as dining rooms. The place could use a bit of freshening up (new paint for example). I started my meal with a mollejas (sweetbread) stew, which is something I had never seen before. It was...absolutely incredible! I followed it with a dish made with the local river fish that was baked. I am not sure of the name, but it too was delicious and the portion was so big I had to take of it to go. Best of all, the price was very reasonable. For an entree, principal plate and a liter of beer, it was just over USD.
