The Kafana At Bordertown - Reno

Excellent for breakfast and lunch. I've never eaten there. waitress was pleasant and fast, never an empty glass

Food was good for cafe food. I was a sweet server. I would give 5 stars, but I saw another server doing something I can't ignore. I contact management directly.

This is definitely the place to stop for a good meal during the trip. We stopped every time we drive past. The casino itself is very smokey. However, the restaurant I never had a bad experience or a bad record. Definitely recommend.

Love the Kafana in Bordertown! When we tried a few years ago, we were not impressed. Our To-go orders were always messed up and the food was just fine, but we gave it another time a year or so before and WOW! Not sure what has changed, but it has become our goal. Large house cooked style meals. Good service. Rare the more errors in orders. The fish tacos are probably the best I ever had, which is crazy, because it is a small casino dinner in the northern valleys. The hot turkey sandwich is so good! Something about a sandwich drowned in the severity that is just so satisfying. Good choice. All I tried here was good, including breakfast. Prices are reasonable. It's nice to have a place nearby.

Dined in. We've been to Bordertown before to gamble but this was our first time dining at Kafana and I am impressed. Excellent for food quality, cleanliness and especially customer service. I could see they have a good hard working staff actively keeping up on a high level of cleaning standards. Menus, booths, countertops, etc we're sanitized immediately after each costumer. Our waitress was the best waitress I think I've ever had as I can't remember ever dining out and not having to ask for one thing before. She was fast, friendly and just efficient. Without asking I received a side of sour cream and salsa with my breakfast burrito as well as ranch for my sweet potato fries. She also brought jelly's with toast, cream and sugar for coffee, straws and napkins. Nothing was wrong with our order and the food was delicious. I would recommend eating here anyone asking. A+
