Mallee Estate Wines - Renmark South

We had high hopes based on the reviews, but unfortunately, the quality of the food and the prices were disappointing. We've had better meals at other local places for much less money. We hope this was just a one-time issue.

I absolutely loved this restaurant! We chose to dine outside since we had our dogs on leashes, and it was genuinely enjoyable. We ordered a bottle of red wine and a bottle of white (while my husband had a Corona). We started with a shared dip platter, followed by skewers of meat and prawns, along with bread, cabbage salad, and sausage. I was so eager to eat that I only remembered to take a picture when we had nearly finished everything! To top it all off, we enjoyed a lovely selection of desserts. Everyone left happy. Oh, and the service was excellent!

Eleni's Restaurant at Mallee Estate, located near the township of Berri in the Riverland, is an outstanding dining spot specializing in delicious Greek cuisine. Eleni, the owner, is a remarkable woman, and during my visit, we exchanged stories about our families' journeys to Australia and how we have flourished here. The walls of the restaurant are adorned with photographs showcasing Eleni's history in Australia, which truly brings her narratives to life. If you find yourself in the Riverland, be sure not to miss this delightful dining experience!

Highly recommend you visit Eleni's for authentic greek food. The Zeus platter was amazing and was a great family feel restaurant. Had a great chat with Eleni herself and was great to hear and see her life story (photos on the wall).
