Great food and a very friendly service! I was in town after celebrating 150th birthday of Canada in Ottawa.
Passing through Renfrew. Stopped in and had very good food (a little salty) and great service.
We decided to stop at Coco Jarry's, firstly the outdoor patio with the beautiful flowers attracted us to this restaurant and we were not disappointed, the service was great and the steak and egg breakfast was very tasteful....we will definitely stop here again
To walk in, everything looks great. Nice patios, not too busy, looks like three or more wait staff. We were told to sit where we would like. There were six of us, with my wife, daughter and son in law, and two teen grandkids.Server was pretty quick, taking orders for water and drinks. Didn't have to wait long. She came, told us the specials [one of which I took] took our orders, and took off.My daughter had asked for a caesar to drink. They were out of vodka.Five minutes, and back with the drinks.Twenty minutes, maybe twenty five, and we're wondering about food. She came by, and we asked her..."coming right up"Five minutes later [a 30 minute wait] and I got my rack of ribs. five to ten minutes later, the next order came out. A chicken and risotto dish, with soupy risotto. My granddaughter insisted on eating it, as she was now extremely hungry. Daughter's salad came, with NICE HOT calamari on the side, about five minutes later. I'm eating my ribs. Very warm, but not hot. Tasty though.Grandsons chicken fingers and fries came about five minutes later. He enjoyed them. About another five minutes for son in laws Jambalaya. Very soupy on the bottom. Not quite cooked perfectly, but...It was 30 minutes after I got my ribs, that my wife finally got her individual pizza. Server had been questioned a number of times as to where, when etc.My wife's pizza was not cooked. The crust was doughy and cool in the centre...probably a frozen crust? The cherry tomatoes on the top weren't even heat cracked, and the spinach only somewhat wilted. She couldn't eat it, and it was sent back, with apologies from the waitress , and while she offered something else, the rest of us were finished, and my wife wasn't interested any more. She had nibbled a bit from the rest of us. The waitress removed it from the bill.,A manager never came to the table.I won't fault the server, but I suspect that the kitchen was being operated by one solitary individual, on his second day on the job.The next day, both my son in law, AND my granddaughter, who had the soupy rice and risotto, had stomach ailments that kept them close to washroom facilities. The menu was nice. The servers were nice. The ambiance was nice. If the food had been served, cooked, and on time, I would give a whole lot more of a rating to this place, but it was just plain bad
