Kayuta Drive-in - Remsen

This restaurant offers delicious ice cream, both hard and soft serve. They have an extensive selection of toppings and other tasty food options. There are plenty of outdoor seating areas that allow for proper social distancing.

Big milkshakes and burgers. Buns have a garlic sauce on them and it was incredible. Really, they have a window to order if you don't want to go inside.

I stopped by to grab a burger while taking my pup to Old Forge, and it was fantastic! The burger came topped with cheese, peppers, and onions, and the fries were delicious too. You could really tell it was made with love! At least, that's what I think!

Kayuta Drive-In is a bit of a letdown. We were craving ice cream after a long day in Old Forge. While the selection isn't very extensive, if you do decide to visit, I recommend trying the Reese's Pieces flurry with chocolate ice cream. It's best enjoyed at one of the picnic tables along Route 12 while watching the pickup trucks go by.
