Since I wasn't very hungry and wanted to keep my bill under $10, I ordered two pieces of boiled white buns with fries (they also offered Jo potatoes) and a cookie. The service was friendly and attentive, and my food arrived quickly, although it was a quiet night since most locals were at a basketball game at the gym. The buns had a slightly unblocked broth and were tender and juicy inside. The fries were crushed and well-seasoned, and I found them quite enjoyable. I prefer my boiled buns with more broth and spice because I believe the crispy, spicy exterior is one of the best parts. However, the cookie was a bit tough, as if it had been overheated in the microwave. A few other diners were in the bar, having ordered spaghetti and a shrimp pasta dish, and they seemed satisfied. The chef came out to check on them, asking if they enjoyed their meals since they were part of the new menu, and he was curious to know if any adjustments were needed. The woman who had the shrimp pasta mentioned she would have liked more garlic, but she showed her empty plate as proof of her satisfaction. The owner was frequently present in the bar, talking to me and the other customers. He mentioned he had been there for three years. Overall, I had a good dining experience with friendly service. I would definitely dine here again and look forward to trying one of their burgers.

Personally, I prefer my broasted chicken to have more breading and a lot of seasoning, as the crunchy seasoned batter is one of the best parts.
