Their food is perfectly seasoned and authentic German food and for a great price. There were 7 of us and the total was under 100 euro. I got the chicken...

We paid two visits. On the first time we choose schnitzels - quite good. The second time osso bucco was our choice - it was terrible: overcooked (probably 2 days previously) and consequently dry and inedible. Complaints to the waiter brought no positive response - just a comment to the extent that that was the nature of the dish. Absolute rubbish. We will definitely not return.

We've been here a couple if times on various visits. Food is good & service quick and friendly. Highly recommended (we'll be back)

Good Food with an awesome ambiance. Very good schnitzel (I had the alt bayrisch) . Service was very friendly. I would recommend this place to anyone.

We had dinner here and were lucky to get a table outside. The food is traditional fare served in hearty portions. My Altbayerische Schnitzel (pork) was good and had a tasty crust consisting of mustard and horse radish over baked cheese. A side salad made for a very filling meal. The local Zwickl and lager beer also tasted good. Service was friendly and efficient. Happily the restaurant is not too close to a busy road as is often the case in Reit im Winkl.
