We waited a while for our meals – maybe because we were a group of six. The server was friendly and chatted with us. I ordered a chicken panini with a Caesar salad. The salad consisted of Romaine leaves topped with dressing, parmesan and croutons. I had to cut up the salad myself. It would have been easier if the dressing would have been in a container so I could apply it after I had cut up the romaine. I was not fond of the dressing. I should have ordered the Greek salad instead. The panini was nicely grilled on the outside but did not have much flavour. The chicken was bland and I couldn’t taste the feta. The servings of lagers were small. The lagers were very thin and extra crispy.
Growing up with big sis living in New Orleans when i hear piano bar im in... apon entering they have a sign for a 2 dollar charge just because they have a player... geez guess people around here think everything shoukd be free. They have a very good menu. I chose the layer CAKE Meatloaf... and yes it looked like a big chunk of cake but it was meatloaf with mashed potatoes in it with mixed veggies and a roastrd corn on the cob... i sat right in front of the piano bit he knew NOTHING from Dr John, James Booker two of the greatest piano bar players in the world.... oh well. The place is a little to dark, I had to use my cell phone to order. The waitress was really nice and the washroom was clean. Beautiful presentation and delicious with pretty music in the background. I dont drink alcohol of any kind and this place was juat as fun as if i did. I would come back again. For 22.00 it was a great dinner and that is with the 2.00 entertainment charge, so with tip and 5.00 paino tip it was a 31.00
Had a really nice evening with Hubby for dinner and a drink and enjoyed the piano music. It was a busy happy evening.
Food was excellent. The staff were very friendly and authentic as well. I commented on a previous menu item and they volunteered to make it even though it was no longer on the lunch menu. Totally recommend this place.
Love the food, came to hear Chris Hamilton do a Beatles tribute. Got there early and a Dan Flegel was playing, butchered most of the songs, never heard Beatles music screamed before. He did much better on the ballads. Can't wait for Chris.
