Sprout Catering - Regina

I'm be been following this business for a long time. I do not work in downtown Regina so it's difficult for me to get ther during their business hours. I had an appointment close by today so I went there for lunch. My sandwich was very good. The service was slow and I was glad I was ther b4 noon. The line up was long when I left. They seemed very understaffed and communicated poorly. They were using Apple iPads for registers with badly crafted drawers for cash that the staff was clearly not trained to use it efficiently. I also sent them an email requesting a catering event in April 2017 and I never heard back from them. Of course I went with another business.

Sprout cafe is a great lunch spot if you want options that won't leave you feeling heavy and groggy throughout the rest of your day! Their service is good, nice light open concept for the place, and most importantly the food has always been consistently delicious! The specials throughout the week are great. I've only ever been for lunch but I anticipate that their breakfast would be great as well.

I recently had lunch at Sprout. The menu offers ample variety and the food is delicious. Service is quick and efficient.

The location at Victoria and Albert is very spacious and bright. The staff are friendly but I find that there is usually a wait to place your order. The menu has a really good mix of items including burgers, salads and even some vegetarian options. Today I had the burrito with a bowl of soup. The burrito was tasty but the potato soup was very watery with no flavor at all. Also the burrito was served with ketchup which seemed sorta weird - some salsa or guacamole would have been a nice addition. My two friends had sandwiches and they said they were just o.k. nothing to draw them back.

I've been to Sprout a few times as well as had some of their Farmer's Market Under the Stars offerings.Everything has been fresh and well seasoned. It's clear that those making the food are tasting for consistency. I actually prefer the breakfast and lunch at Sprout to it's competitor Fresh and Sweet.All in all, a great selection of food including vegetarian and gluten free options.
