Worth a trip, delicious beer, delicious dishes, the new owners are very nice. the sleever mountain with its free-standing is reachable in a short time by car or bike.
When entering the restaurant we were told that it could take a little longer. which was not to be understood in the half-filled gas room. after the appetizers were totally forgotten, the supplements at the main dishes were not correct. service ok, kitchen failed. the lamb was good the black medals in the pan died the second time. Maybe it's better on a day when lunch isn't that much going on.
Fairer wise I must say that I would have given a sufficient if that were possible. first of all to the positive. the service is very friendly and the ambiente is really nice. Unfortunately there were extremely long waiting times today, although not everyone was occupied, but it was well visited, maybe to two thirds. at least we were pointed out at the beginning for longer waiting times. but that you have to wait 10 min. until someone comes and one of them reaches the menu and 15 min. until you get a drink is a bit too much. the menu reads quite modern and innovativ, considering that there was before "scarf all you can eat" in the lus bell. Unfortunately, eating was really bad. the appetizer "lachstartar mit salat": the salmon was totally salted, so bad that it was hardly to eat" the salat was without dressing, fortunate I could get myself dressing on the salatbuffet myself. the appetizer of my accompaniment "marinated paprika with baked mozzarella" was only small cut paprika with ajvar from the glass and feta (on which we were initially pointed out that the mozzarella was out). the main dish "Veggie-Flammkuchen" was as faded as the dessert was salted! you can not simply put small cut paprika, champignons, zucchini and aubergine on a flame-cake floor and finished. the whole thing has to be fried and seasoned beforehand! flame cake hardly remains 15 min. in the how to get the nice and how unhurriedly tastes we all know. second main dish "salat mit ziegenkäse und chutney" was small cut iceberg lettuce (quasi the cheapest one can get) with a few sprouts, with the goat cheese slices, which were apparently already in many times. at least this salat had dressing. perhaps the meat dishes in the lus bell are better, but our table neighbors, the calves carving with bratkartoffeln and pork medallions had said on the question "it tasted them" - "it could have been a little spicy" and on the demand of the waiter "it has not tasted both". at the time we have sneaked over the feedback and twisted a bit of the eyes until we were taught a better one.As positiw it is to be noticed that the wee was really very good, for that he was just as overpriced, so to speak, the most expensive to eat all over. for two appetizers and two main dishes without meat, with 4 glasses wein and 1 bottle water we have paid 75,-- €. we've eaten better for less. so our conclusion: at least in the summer again 1 white beer on the terrace, but never eat again! pity
We know this locally still from the kindness when you could enjoy coffee and cake after a hike on the sleever mountain. this is no longer it, but it is a tastefully decorated restaurant for both domestic and German dishes. the service was professional and friendly and eating with the appropriate wine tasted delicious. we'll be back.
