Trattoria Sipario - REGGIO NELL'EMILIA

Great little spot serving tasty Italian food and beautiful wine. We had the 25 euro set menu which was a nice way to sample what they offered with generous servings of cured meats, two small servings of pastas and a hearty main. We also finished with the Parmesan platter as we drank the rest of the wine.

Our party of 5 called in for evening dinner only because this was the only restaurant open at 10pm. Family run business with basic choices on menu, food was ok but not memorable to make a return visit.

Expensive very poor food. I had a dessert spoon of ragu with a small amount of taliatelle for €13.00. It must have cost them 0.50 to provide the small amount of ingredients. So poor! No atmosphere! Other dish very poor too.

Cucina tradizionale Reggiana, piatti preparati con cura. Porzioni giuste e personale gentile. Prezzi onesti. Ci torneremo.

Tipica trattoria Reggiana, forse il nome è dovuto al teatro attaccato. Gli ambienti richiamano il teatro stesso. Cibo tipico Reggiano, semplice e genuino, i proprietari molto gentili.
