Very enjoyable mainly fish , generous portions beautifully cooked and presented. Went in a wheelchair and easy access with parking close by. Good friendly staff. Highly recommended. Only niggle they only have menu by phone access so much nicer to have proper card menu. Old fashioned? Yes but so much easier!
We were there a party of 6 at a quite packed night. everything was average food, wine, service. we traveled in Italy for 12 days, this was one of the places we least enjoyed. nothing was too good. none of us finished his dish. by the way nothing was too bad either. just an average experience and nothing to remember. we had much much better meals during our trip.
If only you are in Reggello region, that restaurant is a must visit. What is recommended then: neighborhood (if the weather is nice, book the table outside and you will enjoy sitting next to church and surrounded by little tenements), food, food and food and especially octopus soup (as antipasti), sea food soup, frittura mista, white pizza with sea food (be aware of lots of olive in it). In general it is worth to try some other dishes. Frankly I wanted to try also burrata with smoked salmon as it looked so tasty. Last but not least home made limoncello is must try. Best ever. A place worth to come back.
The location is sublime right next to the romanesque Pieve di Santi Pietro e Paolo a Cascia. There is a very large parking close by so this is a plus. The restaurant is known for its fish dishes but as this was my first time I was cautious. To start with I had linguine (the menu said spaghetti but they changed it without any problem) allo scoglio. The serving was huge including vongole, cozze, scampi as well as a cicale. There were so many vongole that the dish easily could have been linguine alle vongole. My second was a tagliata with rucola and scaglie di parmigiano. Again it was a huge dish and I left all the rucola snd most of the parmigiano. Such a waste. My fellow guests also had a similar problem with their second dish which they shared. Spaghetti ai frutti di mare. They excluded the oyster as being their first visit they were not sure. But again the dish was huge. Though it was indicated as a dish for 2 it was sufficient for 3 or even 4. Though we were all satisfied with the quality of the dishes we found the size of the dishes so wasteful. Finally, the service was ok but not great.
