Cafe Furstenhof - Regensburg

We like to come here to breakfast, they always get a table, the waiters are always friendly and they get a lot of food, the prices are very reasonable.

Beautiful small caffe with view of the place below. served typical German eating, decent prices, pretty good service. I enjoyed sitting on the balcony and drinking coffee and having a traditional snack.

Eating was okay, but nothing special. my Greek salate floated in a terrible orange dressing (old family secret, apparently), but the carving was good. the plum cake was very good, with so-so coffee. the sleepy waiter said something English. no snore!

After a city tour we called a drink and cake. even though they get a flight from stone stairs to get to the caffe, it is worth it. the high ceilings and marble floors transport them back into and the service is impeccable. there is a large selection of drinks both hot and cold and a good wine and spirituose list. the cakes are beautiful and they can display them from one of the great glass counters that show their many offers. a great little sound!
