I mean I know Whole Foods has a sushi bar but it never occurred to me it could be good. (I know I'm biased and writing this review is part of the effort to change that). My husband and I have been craving for Japanese food nonstop lately. So when we stopped by whole foods for bread today, we passed by the sushi bar and decided to give it a try. Got California roll for $10.99, 9 pieces. Came home and had them immediately. What a surprise! It's not bad at all! The crabmeat and avocado is fresh that they create this creamy taste in my mouth. I'll come back and try more. I know it's not necessarily a cheap option but it's better than many sushi places I've been. It's not a bad choice for somebody like me who just want grab affordable sushi to go.
Okay, the Sushi is fine but wasn't clear to me when I was mapping my way over there is that this is just the sushi section of Whole Foods. So ... if you're looking for a Sushi Restaurant, this isn't it. It is, however, good sushi to go.
