Akami Sushi - Redwood City

The amazing thing was the super fresh, raw tuna. I haven't eaten something so delicious in a long time.Also very child-friendly, service was unnaturally attentive, a bit annoying. The plates would be snatched away from us immediately after the last bite... and given back immediately after a sip of water... This made us a little uneasy.

Excellent sushi, good service and pleasant atmosphere. Wait times can be a little long if they are busy.

Wonderful dinner for 4, food and service was above par. The skipjack carpaccio was outstanding and the hotate was delicious. It's a tad on the pricey side but we will def be back.

It's a hole in the wall spot, but worth the search! Super cute inside and the ambiance was cozy and warm. Our server was very nice when taking our order and didn't bother us too much. Great service. The food. Wow. Some of the best sushi I've had in a long time! The rice was so soft and everything was put together with lots of care and came out so well. The uni had a bit too much wasabi for my preference but it was super fresh! Our server told us the Uni came in that morning which persuaded us to order it. So creamy and delicious! The 49ers roll and baked salmon were so so delicious, each bite had us in awe. Overall, this spot is a 10/10 and we would definitely come back. Already referred my friend to go there!
