We wanted something a little different to do on a day with nothing planned while in Evora. We found Serra d’Ossa footbridges for a hike online. When we got to Serra d’Ossa we stop in at this restaurant to ask directions. They were pleasant and helpful. We returned after the hike for lunch and had the tomato soup which was very good and a chicken dish. We shared both dishes. The chicken had a similar sauce to the soup and the breast meat was a little dry but the dark meat was good. The restaurant itself was super clean and a very pleasant place to eat. True to what another reviewer said though, that the waitress seemed a bit unhappy that we were there. When I asked if they had wifi she just shrugged and said no and gave me a look…but when I explained I wanted to translate the menu a bit she then explained a few of the items to me and warmed up toward us after that. The food was simple, good, and plentiful but while not bland it could have used a little more spices of some kind.
