Coyote Cantina - Redondo Beach

I love everything about this place. I have been coming here for years and years, and it never disappoints.

This restaurant clearly caters to tourists. The food isn't truly Mexican; it's more like Taco Bell's version of Mexican cuisine. I ordered the fish taco, advertised as Ensenada or Baja California style, but they served it with ranch dressing instead of crema. Even though there's a woman making fresh tortillas, don’t be fooled—the tacos are NOT served with handmade tortillas. On the positive side, the staff is really friendly.

Had a fantastic time at Coyote Cantina! The drinks were just perfect strong and delicious. The Steak Tidbits and Blackened Chicken Enchiladas were both standout dishes. Plus, Carl, the owner, was incredibly welcoming, making the whole experience even more special. A cozy spot I'd recommend to

Absolutely love the quesadilla and drinks! The atmosphere was great and was some of the best Mexican food I've had in a while!

We ordered a few appetizers, and I must say, the corn ravioli was absolutely delicious, smothered in a flavorful cilantro sauce that I could easily drink on its own; we even found ourselves dipping chips in it. While the traditional Mexican dishes were enjoyable, they didn’t quite live up to my expectations. In hindsight, I should have paid more attention to the Yelp reviews and chosen some of the restaurant's specialties. Nonetheless, I’m looking forward to returning for more appetizers and drinks!
