Qdoba Mexican Eats - Redmond

I consistently enjoy fresh and tasty food here, and the staff has always been friendly. I've visited recently and have yet to be disappointed. The quesadillas are genuinely among the best I've ever had, and the guacamole is always fresh and delicious. There are times when they're out of certain ingredients, but none that would significantly affect my meal, in my view. Though mask mandates change frequently, the entry requirements for the restaurant have always been clearly displayed on every door.

It's a chain, so you know what you're getting, but I gave it a 5 for the excellent service. The location is very convenient, which is a definite plus. While I wouldn’t call it authentic Mexican cuisine, the variety and customization options are impressive. And the crispy quesadillas? They are absolutely the best!

Closed today, January 9, 2021. There were no notices on the door or on any website. The door was simply closed and the lights were off. Update: They reached out and offered me two free meals. I appreciate their excellent customer support and the fact that the food was fresh and well-prepared. In terms of flavor, it's fairly typical, resembling regular homemade food—quite light in taste.

I don't know where all the negative reviews are coming from. Maybe people just have very high expectations. Every place has its bad days, but Qdoba very rarely disappoints and I eat here regularly. Good portion sizes, great prices (by Redmond standards, anyway), and quality ingredients. I've never had food poisoning or a stomachache after eating here for 2+ years which is more than I can say for any other fast food place I've eaten at regularly for a long time. The macros (protein, carbohydrate, and fat content) are an especially great split for people who work out or are physically active in general. Qdoba is great for someone looking for something that tastes good, isn't priced too high, is fairly healthy, and is always fresh. Just be sure to drink plenty of water after eating salty foods. PS. Their bowl with brisket is my favorite

I ordered a chicken bowl through their app and discovered that more than half of the ingredients were missing. I only placed the order because of a T-Mobile promotion, and even at the reduced price, it wasn't worth it. There was no rice, no pico de gallo, no lettuce, and forget about the cheese crumbles. The chicken was rock hard, like it had been leftover from previous days. The guacamole was terrible. As for their fajitas, the bell peppers were cut an inch thick. I believe the person cutting their vegetables is probably underpaid and untrained for the job. This was my first and definitely my last order from Qdoba. It was the worst tasting experience I've ever had.
