This was great! the beers were great (we got a few tasters), the hawaiian burger was really great (meat quality, sauce, bun), the service was very quick and friendly. highly recommend this place! The curry bowl was only so/so- it doesn't really have protein (a sprinkle of garbanzo beans) and so for the price it seems to be mostly white rice. would skip that and add a different burger or sandwich instead.

If anyone asks “Where should we eat?” 10 times out of 10 I'm going to say Initiative. When my parents come into town, we are there multiple times a week. The menu has variety, literally ALL the burgers are delicious and the patty melt is my favorite of all time. I think most of the staff knows our names, their brewed beers are awesome and they always have a fun cocktail menu. The patio is perfect (and pet friendly) for day drinking and big enough to meet all our friends.

My sister and I enjoyed a delicious meal at the restaurant. I ordered the Bang Bang Shrimp bowl, while my sister had the gluten free tacos. We also shared a plate of fries. To complement our meal, we each had two gluten free beers. The food was really good.

The excessive salt on the chips detracted from the overall dining experience. This review is focused solely on the salt content.

The service and menu accuracy at this restaurant are not up to par. Although the food can be tasty when the order is prepared correctly, many times my order has been wrong or incomplete. I have received dishes with key ingredients missing or without any side dishes. It would be nice if they paid more attention to the quality of service and food, as the flavors are good when everything is as it should be. Overall, I have been disappointed with my experiences here and likely won't be giving them another chance. Additionally, the prices are not cheap.
