We shared a few plates, but immediately we decided our next visit to order our own plates because we don't stop eating! Very friendly crew (Matt the bartender was great! We arrived early before the music started, so it wasn't busy. Redmond, OR is very much in need of vegan friendly / vegetable based restaurants safe to check HDMH out!
We were so happy to find a 100% vegan menu in Redmond! Great food, cocktails and atmosphere! Can't wait to come back for live music!
We were delighted to try this brand new vegan restaurant for dinner on Saturday. I didn't get pictures from the Saturday menu, but the Sunday brunch menu on the way out. It is a cozy place, space for small entertainment (such as a guitarist or poetry read above and outdoor seating. Friendly staff, fun and various ambient music. The food was tasty and surprisingly similar in the texture and wort, which it replicated. The Pommes were huge and so good. Not many beers on Hahn yet, hoping to change. They are new, only the second completely vegan place in a decided non-vegan-friendly city, and they should initially open in 2020 (Covid-19 Pandemie. I am pleased to support them when they grow and offer more hours, objects and events (it is finally a music hall!
We were excited to try out this newly opened vegan restaurant for dinner on Saturday. Unfortunately, I didn't have the chance to take pictures of the Saturday menu, but I did grab a menu for their Sunday brunch on the way out. The restaurant has a cozy atmosphere with space for small entertainment, such as live music or poetry readings, on the upper floor. The staff was friendly, and the music created a fun and diverse environment. The food was delicious and surprisingly similar in texture and seasoning to the non-vegan dishes it was replicating. The fries were large and delicious. Although there weren't many options on tap, I hope that will change soon. This restaurant is only the second completely vegan place in a city that is not very vegan-friendly, so I am happy to support them as they continue to grow and offer more hours, menu items, and events. It's a great addition to the local dining scene.
UPDATE: As of June 2023, this restaurant no longer offers a separate vegan menu. However, they do have a vegan pizza option available. The restaurant has a nice atmosphere, with a spacious and well-decorated bar. The vegan options are excellent, especially the pico de gallo. We shared multiple dishes and couldn't stop eating! We plan on ordering our own plates during our next visit. The staff, including bartender Matt, was very friendly. We visited before the live music started, so it wasn't crowded. Redmond, OR could definitely benefit from more vegan/plant-based restaurants like this one. Be sure to check out HDMH! (Review updated from June 8, 2022)
