I spent quite a while searching for good Punjabi/North Indian cuisine while visiting the area, and this place is definitely among the best I’ve experienced outside of India. The portion sizes were generous, the flavors outstanding, and the service was welcoming. We particularly enjoyed the mixed kulcha, Chole Bhature, and halwa Aloo puri. We even bought some extra Achaar (pickle) to take home. If you're in search of authentic Punjabi food, this is the place to go!
I'm so glad I decided to stop by for lunch! I ordered the samosa chaat, and it was my first time trying it. I absolutely loved it! The price was very reasonable, making it hard to find such a delicious meal for under $10. I can't wait to return!
The food is absolutely delicious! We enjoyed the aloo paratha, chole bhature, and saag with makai roti.
One of our favorite spots for Sunday brunch! A few ladies work in the kitchen, and they prepare fantastic food. The parathas are delicious; I've tried all of them, and they're all so yummy. I also had the halwa puri with aloo sabzi, which was incredibly tasty. Their sarson da saag with makai ki roti is one of my favorites. I also tried the masala pav, which was just okay.
**Previous Review:** This is perhaps the most authentic North Indian restaurant, surpassing establishments like Kaniskha and the nearby Chaat House. My review focuses on food quality, based on my family's experience in October 2021. The ambiance is minimalist, comfortable, and clean. The chef and sous-chefs are Punjabi, which is reflected in the authentic flavors of the dishes. Their Tandoori Rotis are truly the best in town. This is a strictly vegetarian restaurant that offers excellent Indian sweets as well. They've mastered the quality and flavor but need to work on consistency. I will definitely give it another try.
