Felix & Amor - REDLAND BAY

We went to Felix and Amor for Breakfast and the food was to die for, The menu is not huge but the food is. The flavours are really good and portion size is large. I had a Filipino dish of Pork Belly and rice and...my partner had an omelette with about items in it. The omelette was fairly thin like a crepe and full of stuff

Don't do it! Sorry my disappointment is showing. Bought a Groupon for a High Tea here. Usually the picture of the High Tea is what you will get on the day. Well.... I don't know where they got the picture from but it was not...what we got. A very ecliptic style place (nothing matching) a style I hate. It was just a local eatery actually, nothing fancy and NOT a place you would go to for High Tea. We were early and they were not expecting us, even though I had booked at least weeks before someone had not checked their emails. We got our tea then waited over minutes for the rest and like I said it was not what I was expecting at all and looked like a very amateur job. Even though the shop has a French sounding name the owners were of Asian decent and are maybe not aware of what a high tea is. The staff were very nice and friendly and the food was edible just not of High Tea standard. Who has a chunk of lasagne for High Tea? So disappointed ...my birthday and all. Should give them one star for misleading pictures but I am a generous person.

It was a special occasion and we were looking forward to an elegant high tea similar to the picture in their Groupon voucher offer. However we were served cold chunks of lasagne, cold sad looking scones, dented ribbon sandwiches with questionable fillings, and chunks of...cake just plonked on the plates. Absolutely nothing “posh” as claimed in their description. Check out their picture compared to ours. The staff were friendly and welcoming but the meal was SO disappointing. If you are looking for a really elegant high tea at a very reasonable price go no further than the Lyrebird restaurant at QPAC. It is for people, just more than the F&A deal!

My husband and and year old son went to Sunday breakky today there and the wonderful staff made us feel so at home. The coffee was good (need that with a busy and and food was delicious! Thank you! And the...smoothie was ginormous and yum! I should have got a chocolate and peanut butter brownie to take away!

Since my arrival in Australia, in the State of QLD. I’ve been gastronomically journey in Asian tastebuds Korean, Japanese, Vietnamese, Indian, Thai foods. I was missing something. Ah! Filipino food!!! This was located further away from my accommodation. It was recommended by a...friend. No booking necessary but pre-order is accepted. The cafe was adorned with vintage items luggage, cups, kettle, chairs, tables, etc. Lovely charming venue. This is one of the good qualities of Australia mix with rich cultural immigrants. These immigrants brought their traditional foods in this country which makes this country more interesting to live. The foods were served fresh and hot added with very tasteful aroma homemade kitchen cooking. The owner was friendly and welcoming. Downfall: They forgot to serve one of our orders. The special Halo-halo was lack of some of the ingredients. Verdict: Recommendable to visit again.
