Happy Garden - Redford Township

First and last time going to this place. The rice is totally disgusting, no flavor, all stuck together mush. Sesame chicken , dry and no flavor. Egg rolls are just okay but they want to charge you more for the plum sauce. Stay away from this place

Used to love this place. I think ownership has changed, as last time I ordered, the charge showed up on my credit card as New Happy Garden. Recipes seem off, and portions have changed. I just can 't go back. What did it for me was the time they gave me a partial incorrect order on a take-out. They called me and asked if I could come back so they could give me the right food. When I pulled up and popped my trunk, she gave me the right bags and took out the wrong food and mentioned she needed it to give to the proper customer. I never touched it, but it was clear that if they did that with someone else 's order, they could easily do it with my order. Once it leaves with someone else, I don 't want it. I have to look for a new local place. Shame.

Fast service, received the food hot. The General Tso chicken wasn 't even a little spicy, the crab rangoon had a weird fried blandness taste. The rice had sauce dumped all over it instead of being separate like most places and was mushy.

The best Chinese food restaurant in Michigan. You should try the sweet-and-sour shrimp.

Our family loves this place they are the sweetest family owned little restaurant!
