The Blue Steak - Redditch

My party and I booked a deal at this restaurant through Groupon, which included a 3-course meal with wine and coffee. One great aspect of this place is that we were able to use the voucher on a Saturday night, which was a pleasant surprise. We were seated at a window table in a nice and clean establishment that resembled a pub restaurant. We started with Lamb Koftas and Fishcake, both presented beautifully and tasty. The mains, a mixed grill and Butterfly Chicken, were also well-presented and cooked perfectly. Our desserts, two sundaes, were delicious and served with coffee. Our waitress did an excellent job running the floor single-handedly, ensuring that our food arrived promptly. This restaurant is definitely a Groupon bargain and one of the better ones we have visited. I would recommend giving it a try. Thank you for a lovely meal and a break from watching the X Factor!

I purchased a deal through Groupon for this restaurant and was extremely disappointed. The food was poorly cooked and neither my girlfriend nor I enjoyed it. Despite saving money on the supposed regular price, the quality of the meal was still terrible. The fish cake was passable, but the koftas were burnt, the steaks, gammon, and mushrooms were overcooked, the chips were microwaved and rock hard, and the chicken was low quality and tasted frozen. The dessert selection was limited, with my first choice unavailable and the only remaining option seeming stale. Despite the disappointing experience, we tried to make the best of it and had a laugh at the situation. We felt sorry for the young server, who was very polite and helpful but must have known the food was not up to par. We chose not to complain and simply left as we didn't want to prolong the unpleasant experience. Overall, I would not recommend this restaurant.

I decided to try this restaurant for the first time after hearing great things about the food. I must say, the food was outstanding - cooked to perfection. The atmosphere and staff were also excellent. Both of us ordered the fillet steak, which was absolutely perfect. It was cooked exactly to our liking and simply melted in our mouths. We will definitely be returning to this restaurant.

This was our 4th visit to the blue steak and once again we was not disappinted, this time I booked a groupon voucher for a fillet steak meal and booked a table straight away, steak was excellent and cooked exactly how it was requested, we enjoyed so much I went home and ordered another groupon voucher as they are valid until October!!! Definitely worth a visit
