Astwood House Chinese Takeaway

Gone downhill. This place was great, I think it's changed hands now. They have new phone lines, new menu and the food has declined rapidly. The portion sizes are a lot smaller (one of the main reasons I used to go here was because it was great value for money) dont think I'll be coming back unfortunately, such a shame

The food at this restaurant is delicious and was ready on time as promised. However, there was an issue with the order as some of the items requested were missing. I had provided a detailed list with menu numbers and quantities, but when I got home, I discovered that there was only one of each item when there should have been more. This was disappointing as we had to share what we had among those present. I noticed that I had not been charged for the missing items, otherwise I would have contacted the restaurant for a refund. It's a shame, as the food was really good.

In 36 years, I have never had anything that was not up to standard at this restaurant. The food is beautiful, delicious, and always a great value.

This restaurant offers only collection services, which indicates they have sufficient business. This is for a good reason - they provide generous portions of delicious, well-packaged food. While I usually don't opt for takeout, this restaurant is always my first choice. You won't regret ordering from here. They also accept card payments.

No question that this Chinese food is the best for miles and has been consistently high standard for years. Highly recommend the Singapore chow mein.
