Ihop - Redding

The menu at this restaurant is nice and offers more variety than most American cafe chains. The food was exactly as expected, with hash browns that were tastier than other places. The omelette was made in a superior 3-fold style, giving it a unique look. The staff was friendly and helpful, providing fairly quick service. I definitely want to go back and try the lunches. My only complaint is that a single waffle by itself was $11.99, which I found to be absolutely insane considering the all-you-can-eat pancakes were only $5.99.

I ordered a combo plate and found the pancakes to be delicious as always, but the eggs were just average. The service was exceptional, with polite and efficient staff. The restaurant was very clean, although it was quite loud due to being very busy.

My friend and I had breakfast at this restaurant this morning. I ordered a vegetarian meal with a side of fruit. When I reached the bottom of my fruit bowl, I found raw sausage underneath! My friend also found a curly black hair in his food. It seemed like the sausages were placed into my bowl using the same utensil. The cleanliness of the place was also questionable when we arrived. This experience was disgusting and I will never dine here again. This was not the first dirty IHop we have encountered, so I will be avoiding this chain in the future.

Our server Charles was very nice today. The time to listen and was extremely fast. It is nice to see friendly people in food service when most servers are just grouchy. Great job Charles.

If a place is good, you know. This is the place for breakfast all day. The food is so good that it is hard to eat when you are full. Wide range of food and combos on the menu. When I'm on my way, I'm always looking for an iHop. In my experience, they were never a disappointment. The service was fast and the server was great. I'm looking forward to my next visit.
