Dosa Special - Redbridge

Food is tastly, very reasonably priced. They serve Indian and Srilankan food, service is excellent. Have been there several times and will recommend others.

Along with my family had dinner at this restaurant.Located among various eating places this restaurant was refreshing.No huzzbuzz.Relaxed atmosphere.The quality of Masala Dosa,Rava Dosa and Uttapam was authentic.The staff was courteous.

This is a hidden gem in Ilford. During our three-day stay, we didn't dine at any other nearby restaurants because we were so impressed with the authentic and special flavors here. The service was very warm and friendly, and we thoroughly enjoyed both the food and the service.

Although Ilford has lot of options for Indian food but Dosa Special is indeed special. In starters we ordered Mutton roll, fish cutlet for non veg and chilli paneer for vegetarian friends. I found the Mutton roll was best. The KT dosa special dosa noodles...was too good and probably the best in the area. It was spicy and full of flavours. One of my friend also liked the rabbit curry. The restaurant doesn't look that well from front but has good ambience inside. Overall the restaurant is good specially for non vegetarians.

We used to love coming hear years ago when there weren’t any South Indian places to eat in Ilford, then the owners changed and we thought we would still give it go. It wasn’t the same but still ok. We visited after a long time...and were very disappointed with the service. Maybe she was having a bad day but it put us right off and we nearly walked out after waiting so long to be served (we were the only ones at the place at the time). The food isn’t the same and we didn’t enjoy it at all.
