A family member had his van broken into and all his tools were stolen, but the reception did not inform him even after being notified by another guest. A waitress also warned us that cars and vans are regularly broken into at this hotel, so visitors should be cautious. Overall, the rooms were rated a 2, service a 2, and the location a 1.
I encountered heavy traffic on the M1 and the nearest service station was 10 miles away. Despite this, it was estimated to take 30 minutes to reach it due to the traffic. In need of a restroom urgently (due to a medical issue), I decided to stop at a nearby establishment to inquire about using their facilities. A kind lady allowed me to use the restroom, but upon leaving, another staff member (Karen) at the front desk scolded me, stating that it was not a public restroom. I explained my situation and mentioned that I had been granted permission by another staff member, but she insisted that if I was not a guest, I should not have used the restroom. It was disappointing to encounter such a selfish attitude from the lady at the desk, especially considering that I have stayed at Premier Inn many times before.
I have stayed at this hotel many times. It's a Premier Inn, so you know what to expect. The staff is nice, friendly, and helpful. It's convenient for London Luton Airport and there is a Harvester restaurant next door. The hotel is located near the M1 and the Luton flight path, so it can be a bit noisy with the window open. However, I would still recommend it. I give the rooms, service, and location a rating of 4. Overall, this hotel offers great value for the price.
This place is perfect for relaxing and unwinding. The staff is extremely welcoming and friendly.
Spent a couple of nights here whilst we tripped down memory lane as we used to live in Hemel Hempstead and spent lots of weekends at Whipsnade Zoo. The rooms were clean and the breakfasts were excellent. The staff that saw us in and took our money for breakfast were the best. Thanks very much. The only slight downside was the proximity to the A5 and the buildings own outside lighting that illuminated our room. I would still book again though. Oh and it suffered the usual Premier Inn issues of doors banging throughout the whole building but I think that's more to do with the inconsideration of the other customers.
