Rocklea Roadhouse - Redbank Plains

I'ts a already 8:30 and I know the motel restaurant is already close by the time we get there. So we decided to try this one instead of going to macca's. We had our dinner and I like the steaks! I also notice there's a lot of trucky's having a late dinner and coffee.

We used to be regular patrons of this restaurant for many years, but we no longer visit. The new owner, Sam, is unwelcoming and displays homophobic behavior. He makes a point to greet and visit the tables of other regular customers, but ignores us, despite our consistent patronage. The exclusion was clear to everyone. It's a shame because the restaurant recently underwent a tasteful renovation. The prices of food and alcohol have gone up, presumably to cover the renovation expenses. However, the manager (also named Sam) and the bartender, Charmaine, are friendly.

We came here for dinner and drinks, really enjoyed the stone grill steak and calamari. Full table service and meals were served promptly, we were offered more drinks whilst at the table. Bar and restaurant staff were welcoming and friendly. We would definitely return next time we are in town.

We had an awesome experience here yesterday, great, attentive service, delicious food, and not much of a wait! Would highly recommend

Sam the manager is a flog, a coward. Served us cold meal flat beer. when we complained he whined that he doesn 't have to listen to whingers . He insulted my wife and when I told him to step outside he ra and hid behind his fat bouncers. A pathetic coward.
